Candy floss is the thing that makes a field smell like a
funfair. You don't need to tell anyone what it is - the smell
carries across the site and the queue forms on its own. Our
machine comes with a member of staff for up to three hours,
serving on a stick or in a bag, and the hire includes up to 150
portions.
It sets up under our red and white striped gazebo with a
serving table, so it reads as a proper fairground stall rather
than a catering unit. For bigger crowds we bring extra stock at
£150 per 200 small portions - tell us the numbers when you
enquire and we'll size it right.
It needs a 13amp socket within 25m, or a 5kva generator where
there's no mains. The gazebo and table come with the hire, so
there's nothing for the venue to provide.

staffing. It goes out to everything this site is about - school
fairs, fetes, works family fun days, town-centre weekends and
Christmas markets. At a fundraiser you can charge per portion
and bring in more than the hire costs.

Candy floss and popcorn are the two smells a fair needs. Run
them side by side - the candy floss under its striped gazebo,
the popcorn on its vintage cart - and the row draws people in
before they've decided they're hungry. We've taken the pair to
school fairs, corporate family days and Christmas markets, and
between them they out-earn anything else on the food side.
