The flying planes ride is a children's carousel with aeroplane
carriages instead of horses. Small brightly-coloured planes -
blue, yellow, pink - circle the raised platform on arms studded
with bulbs, each one with its own propeller and seat. It's the
ride the under-tens run towards first when they see it on a
field.
It comes staffed and runs from its own self-contained generator,
so it goes on grass at a summer fete or on hard standing at a
town-centre event without needing a power supply from the site.
Flood lighting comes with it at no extra charge, which means it
keeps going after dark and looks the part doing it.
